The synopsis revolves around a genius native doctor who pervades his mystical intuitions and empirical knowledge to exercise healing in the rural interior together with his practitioners, and how his mission is threatened and opposed by rebellious adversaries, and how he risks his very life for the broken people. The mystery packed saga also echoes a melancholy experience of a village girl whose virtuous life influences the ill-fated and the brokenhearted with an unfathomable affection and sacrificial love that reinforce their hopes contrary to vicious happenings, still whose destiny is uncertain in the face of diabolical attempts plotted to destroy her.
In the midst of all storms and horror, the story turns out to be a whodunit when the mystery of an incarnated supernatural coercive healing power in her is being unveiled, through which many are cured, revived and brought back to life mysteriously. The stunning revelation brings doom to all evil forces. The storyline envisages some customs, practices, fatalistic beliefs and convictions of certain rural Sri Lankan folk.
The drama stars Manjula Kumari in the lead role with her sparkling charismatic spirit infused into the entire creation, using a range of complex compositional techniques in a very spontaneous fashion, together with gigantic luminaries, Niroshan Wijesinghe, Buddadasa Vithanaarachchi, Cletus Mendis, Damitha Abeyrathne, Dananjaya Siriwardena, Deepani Silva, and several others in pivotal roles.
